OrderChief is built and run by Semso, a software integration company based in Lichtenvoorde, the Netherlands, founded in 2016.
Why we exist
Semso started by connecting ERP systems like Exact Online and AFAS to the EDI requirements of Dutch retailers — Ahold Delhaize, Jumbo, Hornbach, Intergamma. That work never really finishes: every retailer's spec changes, every new market brings a new dialect.
OrderChief grew out of that work as a dedicated platform, so the mapping we build for one customer's Ahold Delhaize connection benefits the next customer connecting to Ahold Delhaize too — instead of every integration starting from a blank page.
How we work
Onboarding is done with our own EDI specialists, not a generic implementation partner. We test messages against your trading partner's actual acceptance environment before anything goes live, and we own the relationship with the retailer's EDI desk when their format changes.
